In 2002, Kentucky enacted their separate intrastate mutual aid compact entitled the “Commonwealth of Kentucky Statewide Emergency Management Mutual Aid and Assistance Agreement”. The agreement requires adoption by individual political jurisdictions and applicable entities, and is overseen by the Kentucky Division of Emergency Management.
